The government has approved a new administrative regulation to provide subsidies for entrepreneurs constructing and launching modern swimming pools. This initiative aims to offset up to 50% of construction and commissioning costs, with a maximum subsidy limit of 100 million Uzbek soums.

Financial Relief for Entrepreneurs Investing in Swimming Pool Projects

Entrepreneurs planning to build modern swimming pools can now apply for substantial financial support from the government. Under this program, the first 100 facilities commissioned between February 1, 2026, and January 1, 2028, will be eligible for subsidies designed to ease the initial capital outlay.

Applications are submitted through the State Services Center or the Unified Interactive State Services Portal (YaIDXP) to the Tourism Committee. Once the committee approves the subsidy, funds are transferred to the applicant's bank account within 10 working days.

"Modern swimming pools not only promote a healthy lifestyle but also foster the development of tourism and sports infrastructure, create new jobs, and open opportunities for profitable business ventures," government officials emphasized.

For household budgets and potential investors, this subsidy reduces the financial burden of entering the swimming pool business, a sector expected to grow as demand for recreational and wellness facilities expands. In addition, the program stimulates regional economic activity by encouraging infrastructure development outside major urban centers.

By supporting the construction of modern pools, the government is indirectly influencing related industries such as construction, maintenance services, and tourism. Entrepreneurs benefit from lower initial costs, which can translate into more competitive pricing and better services for consumers.

Potential investors and small business owners should consider this opportunity to launch projects in the wellness and leisure sector. With half the expenses covered and streamlined application processes, the program represents a strategic investment in both community health and economic diversification.
